Our Mission

At Quenby, our mission is simple: we bring genuine, handcrafted pieces to the people who will love them most.

Behind everything on this site is a real person working in a real space—tending a kiln above the Ligurian coast, dyeing with indigo in a Kyoto machiya, weaving on a backstrap loom in Oaxaca, or shaping metal in an Arctic smithy. We created Quenby because we believe this kind of dedication shouldn't have to fight for visibility against cheap, machine-made goods on algorithmic, race-to-the-bottom marketplaces.

We are proud to be highly selective. Every artist is personally invited and reviewed before joining us. We don't charge advertising fees, push our makers to lower their prices, or hide them behind anonymous storefronts. We just want to give them a space to share their name, their story, and the beautiful things they make.
